Empire DVXC42FP Tahoe 42″ Clean-Face Luxury Direct-Vent Fireplace, Millivolt or Intermittent Pilot Control

The Empire DVXC42FP Tahoe 42″ Clean-Face Luxury models feature ceramic glass (for better heat transfer). Options include a dimmer-controlled accent light (LK6) for inside the fireplace, an automatic blower (FBB10), and Black Andirons (DCA1ABL).

With its large ceramic glass window and clean-face design, the Empire DVXC42FP Tahoe 42″ Clean-Face Luxury model creates the illusion of a site-built fireplace, but offers the convenience and operating efficiency of a modern gas system.  The traditional luxury clean-face fireplace is available in 36-inch and 42-inch models.

Tahoe Clean-Face Luxury fireplaces are heater rated, so they will mesmerize your friends and family as well as warm your room.  Zone heating with a gas fireplace saves energy while warming the rooms you use most. The available blower (FBB10) helps circulate warm air more quickly.

Designed for in-wall installation, our Clean-Face Luxury models require just over 22 inches of depth. The venting connects to the top of the fireplace, but can run out the wall or up through the roof.  Tile or other noncombustible material may be used to conceal the outer edge of the fireplace to create a true built-in system.

Liner options for Luxury Models include: Rustic Brick (DVP42XRB), Old World Stone (DVP42XWS), and Black Reflective (DVP42XKR).

Tahoe Luxury 36″ models require just 21 1/2 inches of depth and use 5” x  8″ Top Vent only, making them ideal for applications where wall-cavity space is tight.

Tahoe Luxury models are available in Millivolt (DVCX42FP30) and Intermittent Pilot (DVCX42FP70), in Natural Gas (NG) or Liquid Propane (LP).

Tahoe Luxury models are also available with Multi-Function Control (DVCX42FP91 includes Multi-Function Remote with a thermostat remote control that automatically varies flame height and blower speed to maintain your pre-set temperature).

Millivolt valve (MV)(DVCX42FP30): are standing pilot systems which allow your fireplace to turn on even in a power failure.

Intermittent Pilot valve (IPI)(DVCX42FP70): when the unit is turned ON, it will cause spark to the pilot, light the pilot, then allow the burner to light. When the unit is turned to OFF, both the burner and pilot will be OFF. A battery backup is included allowing your fireplace to turn on even in  a power outage.

Multi-Function Control (DVCX42FP91) Multi-Function Remote models include a thermostat remote control that automatically varies flame height and blower speed to maintain your pre-set temperature. This remote also controls the optional Accent Light (LK6).

The Tahoe Direct-Vent Fireplace includes a barrier screen to protect against touching the hot glass.
